Description
The Civil Works Supervision project for the Construction of Grain Silos for AGRONAL del Sur in Puerto Maldonado, focuses on ensuring the correct execution of the infrastructure intended for maize storage and conditioning. The implementation includes a battery of silos with a total storage capacity of 31,073 metric tons (Tm) of maize. This system integrates a grain conditioning line with a nominal processing capacity of 233.60 Tm/hour. This line covers the critical phases of reception, drying, and cleaning of the grain. Our technical supervision of civil works ensures compliance with structural, geotechnical, and foundation designs, as well as with technical specifications for the erection of silo support structures, galleries, discharge pits, elevator towers, and control buildings. Special attention is paid to: Verification of material quality: Concrete (resistance, dosage, placement), reinforcement steel (diameters, spacings, coatings), and prefabricated elements. Geometric and dimensional control: Alignment, leveling, and verticality of vertical and horizontal structures. Inspection of construction processes: Formwork, concrete vibration, curing, welded and bolted joints in metal structures. Compliance with regulations: Adherence to local and international construction codes relevant to industrial and grain storage infrastructure. The objective is to guarantee the robustness and functionality of all general support facilities for production, designed to support an agricultural processing capacity of 100,000 Tm of maize per year. This includes foundations and structures for administrative offices, laboratory areas, weighbridge cabins, electrical substations, and basic service networks, ensuring efficient and safe operation of the entire storage complex.
