Description
The project consisted of the development of a specialized computer system for the Administration of Port Services – Bolivia (ASP-B), with the objective of strengthening and optimizing the operational management of Bolivian cargo in transit through the Port of Arica, Chile. This technological solution was designed to guarantee traceability, control, and efficiency in the logistical processes of reception, verification, dispatch, and operational planning, responding to the technical standards required in international port environments. Functional Modules Developed: Service Request (Preferred Dispatch): Registration, monitoring, and traceability of requests for priority cargo attention. Reception and Verification of Cargo: Documentary and physical control of goods at the entrance of the port, with automated data validation at control points. Cargo Dispatch: Comprehensive supervision of cargo departure, automatic generation of transport documents, and management of authorizations. Assignment and Planning of Tasks: Administration of operational resources, including personnel and port machinery, for the efficient attention of tasks. Calculation of Import Costs: Automation of applicable tariffs and charges in the nationalization process, integrating operational and regulatory variables in force. Its modular architecture ensures high scalability, ease of maintenance, and flexibility to adapt to future regulatory updates or new operational requirements. This solution significantly contributes to the strengthening of Bolivian port logistics, optimizing coordination between ASP-B and the operators of the Port of Arica.
