The main objective is to ensure the correct implementation and optimization of these hydraulic infrastructures. Scope of Technical Supervision The supervision focuses on rigorous control to guarantee quality, safety, and efficiency, as well as compliance with specifications and regulations: Quality Control in Execution of Works: Materials: Inspection and testing of pipes (PVC, HDPE, cast iron), concrete (compression resistance, settlement), steel, and electromechanical equipment. Construction Processes: Monitoring of excavations, compacted backfills (densities according to Proctor), pipe installation (slopes, depth, hydraulic pressure/tightness tests), construction of hydraulic structures (chambers, tanks, intakes, compact WWTP), and electromechanical assembly. Monitoring and Regulatory Compliance: Hydraulic Designs: Verification of the application of national regulations (NB 689 for drinking water, NB 688 for sanitary sewage) in calculations of diameters, pressures, and capacities. Structural Designs: Review of the execution of foundations and structural elements. Physical and Financial Progress: Monitoring of schedules and resource management. Optimization of Operation: Start-up: Supervision of system start-up (pumping, network disinfection, sewer tightness). Water Efficiency: Evaluation of leaks and optimization of distribution. Removal of Contaminants: Monitoring of efficiency (DBO5, DQO, SST, Fecal Coliforms) regarding LMP, if residual treatment applies. Operational Sustainability: Guidance for future operation and maintenance. This service is essential to ensure the technical quality of the systems, contributing to the well-being of the population in Arapata.
