Description
The livestock training project in animal management and health for the Caraparirenda community aims to strengthen the skills of local producers in managing their livestock resources. Through an initial diagnosis, the main needs and challenges in animal breeding were identified, including health problems, inadequate management, and lack of knowledge about veterinary practices. This analysis has allowed outlining a training program adapted to the community's specific conditions. The final design of the project includes the implementation of practical and theoretical workshops, where topics such as adequate feeding, health management, disease prevention, and improvement in breeding practices will be addressed. Experts in animal science and veterinary medicine participated, providing farmers with the necessary tools to optimize the health and productivity of their animals. Additionally, follow-up and evaluation sessions were established to measure the impact of the training on local livestock activity. Finally, the project sought to promote a culture of collaborative work among community members, fostering the exchange of knowledge and experiences. The active participation of producers in the training process not only strengthened their skills but also contributed to the sustainable development of the Caraparirenda community, improving the quality of life of its inhabitants through more efficient and responsible livestock practices.
