Description
This project focuses on the development of the Final Design Study for the Union of South American Nations (UNASUR) Convention Center, which will be located in the Department of Cochabamba. This study will provide a comprehensive proposal for both technical and architectural planning. The initial stages include a thorough topographic survey of the intervention area and a detailed geotechnical study of the soils. These are essential to ensure the physical viability of the site. Subsequently, the architectural design pre-projects and corresponding engineering specialties were developed. These specialties include structural engineering, hydro-sanitary installations, storm drainage, sanitary sewerage, electrical installations (both internal and external), acoustics, electroacoustics, electromechanics, air conditioning, special installations, gas installations, the implementation of green roofs and a drip irrigation system. The design of the center will be based on criteria of sustainability, functionality, and energy efficiency, integrating modern technologies and constructive solutions that adapt to the climatic, regulatory, and urban context of the selected area. A key aspect will be the inclusion of two state-of-the-art auditoriums, designed to offer a cutting-edge experience in events. In summary, this study provides the necessary technical guidelines for the subsequent stages of bidding and execution of the Convention Center.
