Description
The project consisted of the technical and environmental supervision of the construction of three 30-meter-long bridges in the La Central-Isiri section of Bolivia's Fundamental Road Network. This included the review and validation of the Final Design Study (EDF) and rigorous monitoring during construction. Technical Scope Review and Validation of EDF: Documentary Analysis: Verification of the accuracy of topographic studies (surveys, profiles), geotechnical (subsoil characterization, SPT, CPT, laboratory tests, bearing capacity, liquefaction, foundation recommendations), structural design (element calculations, compliance with seismic regulations NB-DS, ACI 318, AASHTO LRFD), and hydraulic (dimensioning of lights, scouring). Identification of Non-Conformities: Detection of inconsistencies or deviations. Technical Construction Supervision: Quality Control: Inspection and approval of materials (concrete, steel) through laboratory tests. Geometric Control: Verification of replanting, alignment, and levels. Process Supervision: Monitoring of foundations (excavations, piles, concreting), substructure (piles, abutments, reinforcement, formwork), superstructure (beam assembly, slab, expansion joints, support devices), and complementary elements. Non-Conformity Management: Documentation and follow-up of corrective actions. Environmental Supervision: Monitoring of the Environmental Management Plan (EMP): Verification of mitigation measures and compliance with the Environmental License. Impact Control: Supervision of waste management, erosion, protection of flora/fauna, and disposal site management. Reports: Preparation of monitoring and regulatory compliance reports. The supervision ensured safe and sustainable road connectivity, the durability of the infrastructure, and the minimization of environmental impact.
