Description
This project seeks detailed engineering for a new bi-modal terminal in Punata, within the rehabilitation of the Cochabamba – Arani railway. The terminal will integrate rail and road modes. The study will comprise: Bi-Modal Demand Analysis and Site Studies: Evaluation of interconnection demand and topographic and geotechnical studies of the land. Bi-Modal Architectural and Functional Design: Design of differentiated and connected spaces for rail and road operations, with universal accessibility. Structural and Installation Design: Development of the structure and electrical, sanitary, mechanical, and security installations for the bi-modal terminal. Interconnection Design: Planning of vehicular and pedestrian accesses, and connection with existing rail and road infrastructure. Bi-Modal Equipment Specification: Definition of the necessary equipment for the integrated operation of both modes. Technical Documentation: Preparation of technical specifications, budget, construction plans, and bidding documents. Environmental Assessment: Study of the project's environmental impacts. The result of this study will be the complete technical documentation for the construction of an efficient bi-modal terminal in Punata, key to the integration of transport in the region.
