Description
The project consisted of the technical and regulatory supervision of the construction of the new infrastructure of Cap. Aníbal Arab Fadul Airport in Cobija. The supervision ensured the correct execution and compliance with engineering and safety standards. Scope of Supervision The supervision included: Buildings: Passenger Terminal, Cargo Terminal, and Administrative Offices. Airport Platform: Platform for Passengers and Cargo, including its structural design for aeronautical loads. Technical and Regulatory Control by System A rigorous control was exercised over the following systems: Structural Works: Verification of foundations, superstructure (slabs, beams, columns) and roofs, including quality control of materials (concrete, steel), compression tests, and compliance with seismic resistance standards. Sanitary Installations: Supervision of drinking water networks (internal networks, pumping, tightness), sanitary sewage (collection, slopes) and storm drainage (collectors, final disposal). Climate Control Systems (HVAC): Control of UMA installation, ductwork (laying, insulation), and control systems. Electrical Installations: Supervision of medium and low voltage networks, panels, cabling (gauge, ducts), emergency lighting, grounding, lightning rods, and backup systems (electric generators, UPS). Communication and Data Network: Verification of structured cabling (UTP/STP, fiber optics), active equipment (switches, routers), CCTV, access control, fire detection/alarm systems, and audiovisual systems (FIDS, PA). Accesses and Parking Areas: Control of pavement quality (asphalt/concrete), signage (horizontal/vertical) and surface drainage. This comprehensive supervision was essential to ensure that the airport meets high infrastructure standards, ensuring its operability, safety, and durability.
