Description
The specialized technical monitoring and review of the Final Design Study of the Chimoré International Airport, prepared by the Consorcio Constructor Chimoré, was carried out. The work focused on the comprehensive technical verification of the quality, consistency, and regulatory compliance of the study components, ensuring the technical viability and optimization of the airport design under national and international standards. The reviewed components included: Topography: Accuracy of the survey and digital terrain models. Geology and Geotechnics: Site characterization and geotechnical parameters for foundation design. Hydrology and Hydraulics: Flow analysis and sizing of the drainage system. Movement Area: Geometry of runways (4,000 meters), taxiways, and platforms. Architectural Functional Design: Distribution and sizing of the passenger terminal and cargo terminal. Control Tower Design: Functional, visual, and technical aspects for air traffic control. Fire Station Building Design (SSEI): Regulatory compliance and sizing for aeronautical emergency response. Structural Calculation: Methodology and sizing of the structures of the passenger terminal, cargo terminal, control tower, fire station building, and other buildings. Installation Design: Sanitary, electrical, communication, electronic security, and special systems for all buildings. Visual Aids and Radio Aids: Design of runway lighting systems, horizontal and vertical signage, and location of radio navigation equipment. Access Roads and Service Infrastructure: Design of road accesses, parking, water supply, wastewater treatment, and energy supply. Airport Master Plan: Consistency of the design with the airport's long-term general planning. This exhaustive review validated the technical solidity of the Final Design Study, guaranteeing compliance with criteria and regulations for a modern, safe, and efficient international airport infrastructure.
